Pregnancy Calendar, Making of Me Book, Pampered Preggie Giveaway Event

Unique Pregnancy Gifts, has just that, unique pregnancy gifts. I was offered a Countdown to My Birth Calendar and a Making Me Book form the Author, and I am so glad I was. My whole family is glad :-) We have had so much fun with both of these.

The Making Me, The Pregnancy Activity Book for My Big Brother or Sister, has been fun for my little ones to share. They are learning while having fun. I think it is very important to include big sisters and brothers in the excitement of a new baby on the way. It lets them feel special still.

Hadassah is 3, and yes she knows mama has a baby in her tummy, but what does that really mean to her? The Making Me book has helped explain a lot. And it comes with colored pencils and a weekly ruler right in a pocket in the front of the book.

It has fun activities to do, some the older kids can do by themselves, but the younger children do need some assistance.

 As you can see I have it set up right next to our beloved Goldie, on the window sill above our kitchen sink.

Even our kids ask if the can turn the page each day, but mama is greedy, I like doing this part, just as much as I enjoy reading the little informative tidbits written on each day.

Notice the Today Is at the bottom of the page is blank. The entire calender is made this way, so that you are able to fill in the dates to correlate with your individual pregnancy!

I have had such a wonderful time with this Countdown to My Birth calender. I LOVE reading it every day. Seeing how the baby is growing and all of the new things going on with the baby. The older kids are learning so much as well.
It even comes with stickers to place on those special days, such as prenatal appt. and U/S if you have them and the first kick and more.

Sacred Pregnancy is such a wonderfully beautiful book. It is forwarded by legend Ina May Gaskin, and Annna Getty.

All women who have carried a child in her body, felt that baby move and grow and then birthed that child, knows just how Sacred Pregnancy truly is. Most women are at a loss for words, at how the emotional aspect and spiritual aspect affect us through pregnancy & birth. I love that Sacred Pregnancy, again celebrates this.

With Sacred Pregnancy the book was such a hit, Anni and Sacred Pregnacy then created a Sacred Pregnancy Magazine.

  Once again, Sacred Pregnancy is celebrating a woman and her pregnancy and birth. With such things as power quotes, photo's birth stories, practical advice on how to stay healthy, and yes another journaling area. You can purchase the magazine as an online version, or a mailed paper version. I love the paper version, only because I love the photo's and being able to go back and read the birthing stories (every issue will be differnt) and just to hold it in my hands.
Sacred Pregnancy offers classes and even conferences and retreats! What a time that would be. You can become an instructor as well.
  Now I must comment, I am a Christian, believing in The Lord my Father. Sacred Pregnancy does have some things, from photo's to comments, that are not exactly in line with my religion. However this does not mean that I can not enjoy and appreciate all that Sacred Pregnancy has to offer.

  I have very sensitive skin and suffer from Rosacea, therefore it is very hard for me to find cosmetic products that I can use, like Novena. Most products irritate my skin. They either dry it out, or cause me to break out. That is yet another reason, it is extremely important to know what is in the products I use. I try to stay strictly Organic, especially while I am pregnant! you would be down right disgusted if you knew what all of those chemicals actually were, or were doing to your body or unborn baby, in most cases. Again Novena, an excellent company that is not only SAFE, but also nourishes your skin (which happens to be our largest bodily organ). I can't stress enough, at how important Organic skin care is. And Novena has to be one of the best I have ever come across. I know it is the brand I will be sticking with.

I currently am using the Organic Luminescent Moisturizer by Novena, because my skin seems to be very dry, especially in the winter time. Also I am currently using the Organic Citrus Blemish Lotion by Novena. Not a topic I usually care to discuss, but at 31 I still struggle with breakouts, and due to the rosacea, it seems more often then I should.

I have fell in love with both of these products. I know you would to. regardless of age, when pregnancy hormones kick in, we tend to have breakouts from time to time. And also whether you struggle with dry skin or not, you should use a daily moisturizer to keep you skin soft and supple. Novena can help you do that and safely!

I know that this is not the most determining factor, however I do have to say, I like the Novena  packaging, it is very nice looking.

  As many of you know this will be our 8th baby. I have had nausea occasionally with a couple of my other pregnancies, but nothing worth mentioning. However that completely changed with this little blessing of ours. I suffered from nausea, gagging and many days, I wouldn't want to eat anything because I was feeling so ill.
  I had heard about Preggie Pops several years ago and never had a need for them. I knew I had to try this now though, ginger was simply not cutting it.
